Cause You Can't Be Caught Red Handed If You're Not Red Handed

Well I've pretty much finished school and summer has come. And what better way to start start summer off than by being terribly sick. I spent Wednesday in my room with a 103* fever and have spent the rest of the week trying to recover while still trying to enjoy the weather and all that. Oh well, what can ya do. Over Memorial Day weekend I'll be going to Baltimore for the lacrosse final four so I'm getting ready for that and I've been just getting ready for the end of the high school lacrosse season. After that I may be heading out to California although I haven't really put any action into those plans.

Within the past few weeks I've gone and seen The Dear Hunter (Casey from TREOS's new band) and TREOS play without Casey and I must say that while I was concerned TREOS might suffer from the lack of Casey they continued to impress me by putting on a great show. They played two new songs and both sounded pretty good but it's hard to get a feel for a new song by a band like TREOS live. Their new album, The Earth Sings Mi Fa Mi will be released I believe August 10th, but that may not be a correct date. The Dear Hunter also put on a great show, however they were opening for Say Anything and Saves The Day and their set time was pretty limited so only a few songs were heard. Fortunately, they will be headlining at The Webster Underground in a few weeks. I was able to hear a few final versions of some tracks off their new cd, The Meaning Of, And All Things Regarding Ms. Leading, and they sounded really impressive. That cd releases May 22 and they will be playing a free acoustic set and signing cds at 7 pm at Best Buy at the Greendale Mall in Worcester, MA.
